There's nothing terribly religious (or non-religious for that matter) about the title. My kids have always referred to dramatically lit cumulus clouds as "God Clouds."They remind me of old Biblical paintings. In those paintings the artists were trying not to portray God directly but the presence of a God.
It seems there's more to say about the background than the cattle drive portrayed. The Longhorn are a hearty cattle. They are prevalent in Arizona because of their ability to live off of Desert scrub that other cattle can’t. I love the way Longhorn have so many colors and patterns almost like wild mustangs.
